We are looking for a motivated and energetic individual to join our growing team as a community manager. The ideal candidate is a passionate gamer with experience in the promotional and publishing side of the games industry. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is genuinely excited to communicate with fans, represent the development team and help push our games to the next level.

This is a full-time employment position working from our office located in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage our social media presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Twitch and YouTube

  2. Manage and create content for our official websites

  3. Write blog and news posts

  4. Monitor community feedback and share with the development team

  5. Work with the marketing team to coordinate news and media releases

  6. Respond to emails and questions from our community

  7. Represent our studio at promotional and marketing events (international travel may be required)

  8. Appear on camera or in front of crowds of people during interviews or other appearances

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a community manager

  2. Passionate gamer

  3. Excellent written and oral communication skills

  4. Experience managing social media accounts

Pluses:

  1. Experience producing video content

  2. Experience with Photoshop or other image editing software

  3. A good eye for visual design

  4. Game development & design experience

  5. Experience playing video games at a competitive level

  6. Experience as a video game streamer on YouTube or Twitch

This is a full-time employment position working from our office located in downtown Toronto, Canada. Remote workers will not be considered at this time.

Responsibilities

  1. Work with the creative lead to deliver art assets by assigned due dates

  2. Design and implement artwork directly within Unreal Engine 4

  3. Use Unreal Engine 4 terrain tools to assemble large scale terrains

  4. Optimize, combine and atlas textures and meshes to ensure good performance

Requirements

  1. A minimum of 5 years experience creating fully realized 3D environments

  2. Strong foundation in ZBrush/Mudbox, Quixel/Substance Painter and Photoshop

  3. A thorough understanding of 3D Studio Max and/or Maya

  4. Experience using the Unreal Engine 4 material editor and authoring materials

  5. Experience creating Physically Based textures and materials

  6. Experience creating assets in Unreal Engine 4 as well as importing and managing assets

  7. Able to design and light interior/exterior spaces within Unreal Engine

  8. Experience with optimization techniques such as mesh merging and creation of texture atlases to reduce draw calls

  9. A good understanding of what’s needed to set dress an environment

  10. Self-motivation, good communications skills, and a great team-player attitude

Pluses

  1. A degree or formal art training in illustration, traditional painting or industrial design

  2. Experience working with Unity Engine and its art pipeline

  3. Experience using World Machine
